Garnets are semi precious stones that come in a variety of different colours and types, but they are most known for their red colour. They have a hardness of 6.5-7.5 on the MOHS scale and they are the birthstone for January
The Penrose collection was inspired by the mathematical findings from Sir Roger Penrose. Here, it is dissected and reworked in 3 dimensional form to create different shapes and angles.
